A Novel Design of Constant Load Creep Test Machine

Polymer materials have been used in a wide area from our homes to industry today. For this reason, creep curves the mechanical properties of polymer are an important factor for correct use polymers. This article presents new constant load test machine design which is mechatronic system perform testing A low-cost was developed by mounting clamps, pulleys, weights and steel cable on top main frame. With measurement unit, linear movement detected recorded with data logging together ambient temperature. Tests were made 15% calcium carbonate reinforced polypropylene specimen. It observed that experimental obtained compatible standard curve. These findings confirm presented works efficiently.
